About

Jennifer Landa is an actor, host, and mega Star Wars fan. Growing up in Orange County, she studied acting and performed at South Coast Repertory’s Young Conservatory and UC Irvine’s School of Drama. While in college, Jennifer portrayed “Princess Jasmine” at Disneyland. Her time in Adventureland was magical and she’d love to tell you all her Disney secrets, but she swore an oath to Mickey Mouse.

Jennifer eventually left the magic kingdom and moved to Los Angeles.  She worked at E! Entertainment Television as a Production Assistant and an Associate Producer. As an AP, she conducted interviews with celebrities like Zooey Deschanel and wrote & produced segments for both E! and the Style Network. She also worked with the Associated Press for their coverage of the Oscars.

As an actress she has appeared on shows like ABC’s Better Off Ted (as a clueless magician’s assistant) and MTV’s Awkward.  She has also appeared in various national commercials including Honda, McDonalds, Toyota, T-Mobile, Ace Hardware, Chase, Bud Light (Superbowl ad), and more.

Jennifer’s lifelong love of Star Wars has inspired her many YouTube videos.  Whether she’s creating a porg puppy costume or baking a Sarlacc Pit Bundt Cake, the Force is strong with this crafter. As an on-camera host, Jennifer has had the pleasure of working with Lucasfilm/Disney for StarWars.com. She is also a contributor for the official Star Wars blog. Other on-camera appearances include Collider’s Jedi Council, Screen Junkie’s Millennial Falcon and TV Movie Fights. In February 2018, her new Star Wars DIY show, DIY Hacks, premiered on the official LEGO YouTube channel.

Currently, Jennifer is a co-host on the ForceCenter podcast, with Ken Napzok and Joseph Scrimshaw where they discuss all things, you guessed it, Star Wars. And whether it’s dancing in a Lady Vader costume or explaining the joys of Star Wars parenting, she has recently enjoyed creating content on TikTok.

Jennifer is a proud Chicana, and an alumna of Second City LA.  Whether you’ve landed here because of her Star Wars wedding or deep dives into all things retro, welcome! Grab some blue milk and Wookiee cookies and stay for a while. 🙂
